Podcasts, both in spoken Latin and about classical topics, are readily available to students and teachers these days. But how can we leverage them to engage our students? In this session, teachers will discuss how to use existing podcasts with students. We will also explore how to use readily available podcasting technology to give students a platform for their own voice in our community and to encourage intellectual discussion and engagement with each other. Attendees are encouraged to bring and use their own devices to explore available options and begin their own recordings. No experience with spoken Latin is required as podcasting projects transcend the "communication standard" and allow a platform for cultures, comparisons, and connections.
